Regular readers here know that I am a huge fan of the Sandler Sales System. “Sales & Marketing” are often bundled together, but they are two very distinct roles needing very distinct knowledge and skills. While I focus on marketing, I know that I can have a great marketing system, but if my sales process sucks, then I won’t get the results I’m looking for in my business. Los Angeles Galaxy 0 vs. 0 Kansas C...KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The Wizards held red-hot Edson Buddle scoreless for the first time this season but couldnt capitalize on a bevy of their own scoring opportunities as Kansas City and Los Angeles played to a 0-0 draw at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Manager Peter Vermes squad forced the unbeaten Galaxy to play on the defensive for much of the night with pressure high up the field, but Kei Kamara missed a gilt-edged chance and Donovan Ricketts made a handful of timely saves to preserve the draw. The Galaxy failed to win for the first time this season and are now 4-0-1 while Kansas City moves to 2-1-1 and remained undefeated at home in 2010. Looking to record their third victory in three chances at CAB, the Wizards should have grabbed the lead in the 17th minute, but Kamara slipped on the goal line with nothing standing between him and his third tally of the season. Davy Arnaud got behind the Galaxy defense, but his shot was deflected by Ricketts and bounced off the inside of the post and spun onto the edge of the goal line. With the ball begging for a finish, Kamara lost his footing on the wet turf, whiffed on his shot attempt and inadvertently knocked the ball into the goal with his arm. AMC Mainstreet Theater Tour (Downto...AMC invited local bloggers to come preview their new theater in Downtown Kansas City. AMC Mainstreet, the theater, orginally opened in 1921, but now has been renovated and upgraded (to say the least). They gave me access to the new theater and I willingly decided to shoot a vBlog to give everyone a preview before its open to the public. Check out my video blog for a complete tour of the place, its not your typical movie theater. I also snapped a few photos with my camera which you can view on my flickr account. Here is the quick bottom-line about the new theater in my opinion: * Truthfully the food (that you order in the movie theater) isnt amazing. Its like bar food — not gourmet. * In my opinion, the audio setup, screen-size and seating comfort justifies the higher price you pay to watch a movie. * The seats all have speakers in them that rumble when action scenes appear in the movie. Cheesy as that may sound, when I watched a movie there it was freakin cool to watch actions scenes with your seat shaking. * You can order beer and they bring it to you = cool * Youre able to reserve specific seats online or by phone so you dont have to show up extra early to get a good spot. ramseymohsen.com
